On the second weekend of January, 11 months ago, I made a big reveal of our preaching them for this whole year. I said that our theme was Giant Steps.

The Lord laid this on my heart, because I can see so many sincere believers in Jesus getting stuck in their lives.

I think God has something better for us than we are currently experiencing it. He wants us to step into that.

So over the course of this year, I have been preaching on Giant Steps that you can take.

Giant steps you can take for what?

I have been teaching and preaching on the steps you can take so that FUTURE YOU can experience John 10:10.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

I have been preaching all year long on GIANT STEPS so that FUTURE YOU can literally experience the promise that Jesus made to you — that he will give you THE ABUNDANT LIFE.

What is this abundant life?

The abundant life is the place in your life where you experience to the maximum all the blessings God has for you...

It's a journey to beauty beyond description.
It's a life full of love beyond compare.
It's a blessing beyond the Garden of Eden.
It's an experience of grace so real you never forget you are richly blessed, highly favored, deeply loved.

Imagine stepping into your fullest potential, where the abundant grace of God flows unimpeded, making you the hero in this saga—empowered, alive, and vibrant in the realm God has set before you.

Addictions are gone. Dysfunctions are healed. Broken relationships are a thing of the past. Finances are healthy. Sexuality is loving and life-giving. Mental health is your birthright and emotional wholeness is your reality. It might seem like a dream come true; but it's not.

Its the gift of God. It's the birthright for every child of God.

That is the abundant life. That is heaven on earth, the Bible's way. That is the real miracle every heart longs for.

Would anybody here like to live The Abundant Life? Would anybody here like FUTURE YOU to experience The Abundant Life that Jesus talked about? Do you want that?

I do. My hand is up.

I want the Abundant Life, the God-blessed Life, the kind of prosperity inside and out that Jesus literally promised.

So that has been the promise and the purpose of Giant Steps.

And I hope and pray that you've made some significant breakthroughs this year... in your mental health. In your relationships. In your finances. In your walk with the Lord. And most of all in your experience all of the blessings and graces that belong to you now that you belong to Jesus Christ.

Today I'm wrapping up this whole series. Because next weekend, we move into December. Our theme for December will be "The King is Born."

And for all of December, we dedicate our services to people you know and love who don't have Jesus. They need the Lord, and all my messages will invite them to come to Jesus.

But today, I'd like to wrap up the Giant Steps series with a talk I'm super excited about.

 

Because every week there's been a hint on the screen about my wrap up talk today.

And that hint is in the logo... right there in the world Giant... where instead of the A what do you see? Bigfoot.

Here's my title: Step Up to Big Beautiful Feet

And we're going to look at 5 places where the Bible talks about your feet... the kind of feet you need to step up and to upgrade your life to the abundant life of Jesus.

But there is a struggle there.

That's because the backstory of your abundant life is a shattering fall. When God created the human race, he put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. This was the place of ultimate abundance.

In that garden, God gave them this thing called dominion. That means the right to rule. And that's the first thing we want to notice about our big beautiful feet.

"You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet" (Psalms 8:6).

God is saying that you were designed to rule and reign in the realm of your life.

But that dominion was tragically lost through the forces of darkness in the earliest mists of human history.

And that lost dominion means that other forces have power over you.

Addiction has power over you.
Emotional pain has power over you.
Tyrants have power over you.
Demons, Satan, death, hell, darkness, cruelty, evil... sin... sin has power in this world because Adam and Eve lost their dominion.

So God's great purpose in salvation is to give you your dominion back. That's the secret of the abundant life... and that's the promise of:

"Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:17).

You reign in life. You get power over addiction, pain, tyrants, Satan, and all evil. You get your power back. That's the idea.

Because all those dark forces are trying to steal your dominion back every single day. And God says... DON'T LET THEM.

So how?

How do we live this way?
